Welcome to the Project Camino Blog!!
This blog will go and in hand with my podcast and I hope it allows me to further extend upon the wisdom that is shared by my podcast guests.
I decided that I would try my hand at this writing caper, as I have lots of ideas that I know will add even more value than the show already does.
One of the main reasons I have decided to start blogging is to try to answer some of the many questions I get from pilgrims every week.
One thing that I was asked last week was ‘What makes a true pilgrim?? This has gotten me thinking, is it the actual steps taken on the Camino? Is it the internal changes that occur on the Way? Is it the stamps in the credential? Is it the blisters and sore feet?? Or is it something else entirely??
Getting an insight into this puzzling phenomenon would be made infinitely easier if the world wide Project Camino Community were to help me find out!
So I am looking for feedback and responses from YOU, my fellow pilgrims, because I can have all the theories in the world, but if I don’t get a wide and varied collection of opinions then its just me talking to myself…. And while that is acceptable on the Camino, it is usually frowned upon elsewhere (first sign of madness and all that)
So I am looking for ideas, opinions and your view on what ever it is that comes up. And in my experience, strong and varying opinions are usually pretty common in the pilgrim world!
If I get something special I will give you a shout out on my podcast, which is something I have wanted to do for quite a while… I just need pilgrims to tell me what they want to hear!
Use your time wisely, its the most valuable thing that any of us have and Buen Camino!
