Sue Swain knows all about Albergue life after she made a decision that would change her life forever after walking her first Camino in 2012.
In the following 3 1/2 years walked 10 further Camino’s, so it’s fair to say she is a big fan of the Camino and what it can provide you.
Not only did it change her life she also changed her country and profession by following her dream.
She moved from Sydney in Australia to Trabadelo (173 km from Santiago) on the Camino Francés.
Not knowing any Spanish, Sue bought and renovated a 300 year old house transforming it into an Albergue called ‘Casa Susi’
Casa Susi is a very unique Albergue, with only 12 beds and freshly cooked meals fresh from the garden each day.
It is a place where Pilgrims can rest secure in the knowledge that they will be welcomed and taken care of surrounded by Pilgrim Spirit and love.
